And it's done! XD Finally!

Serously people you have no idea how long it took me to finish this baby. I'm beat!

Anyways, this is my contest entry for the #Universeofthe4gods preistess re-design contests, where we had to redesign one of the priestesses outfits. In my case I chose my favourite priestess Madoka Ootori, the Priestess of Suzaku from the videogame "Fushigi Yuugi Suzaku Ibun". Seriously, there's not much art about this lovely lady so I'm glad the founder allowed me to draw her for this contest!

As for the outfit: the gown's a more modern style one compared to the others I've seen. I was actually inspired a bit by "Harukanaru", where some of the characters (priestess included) wear more modern looking outfits. Of course "Harukanaru" is based on Japan, so I had to apply this criteria to a chinese outfit... I wonder if it looks fine? I tried to make her outfit based on Suzaku, hence the colors. Also, I tried to make it light, y'know, like a bird's feather or something of the sort? Oh and of course comfortable! My little bro actually said this dress reminded him somewhat of a Disney princess dress! I wonder if that's true?!

Oh and as for the Suzaku back there, well he was a last minute addition. The background looked pretty empty so I added him in. He's basically protecting Madoka and watching over her.

Fun fact 1: Those little designs on the edges of Madoka's skirt and sleeves were a real PAIN to do! I don't think I'll ever do them again in another gown...
